Text Box: “Sergeant First Class Duane Bowen, US Army Returns from his fifth Tour in the Persian Gulf -Receive Honorarium & Gift from Chairman Levings” Text Box: “Sergeant First Class Duane Bowen, US Army returns from (Fifth) Deployment to the Persian Gulf and Chairman Marcus Levings” Text Box: “Sergeant First Class Duane Bowen, US Army returned from (Fifth) Deployment to the Persian Gulf and Chairman Marcus Levings were able to visit upon SFC Bowen return home straight from deployment to visit with a nephew who experienced a fall in the Bismarck/Mandan Area. SFC Bowen, explained to the Administration that he has completed twenty (20) years of Service to the United States Army. The Army has been a challenging and rewarding experience for SFC Bowen he is serving his family, tribe an his country for the Freedom that is not Free! It Was with much Appreciation and Thanks that SFC Bowen and his Mother Beatrice Fox accepted the Honarium and Gift! However it was actually in the contrary as it is with Thanks and Appreciation that he Serves his People of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara! The Tribal Business Council enacted a Military Bonus in November 2006 for Tribal Members whom serve a deployment to the Persian Gulf War on Terrorism; which includes Iraq and Afghanistan.
