Mandan Honored By Dorreen Yellow Bird, press secretary
Tony Mandan was honored October 22, 2009, by the Mental Health America of North Dakota (MHAND) for his participation in advocating for a relationship between the Three Affiliated Tribes and MHAND to address barriers to the access of mental health and substance use issues, said Susan Rae Helgeland, MS, MHAND. He was given the Challenge Stigma Award. MHAND is a 501(c)3 with the mission to promote mental health through education, advocacy, understanding and access to quality care for all individuals.
