First tribal well best in the Bakken By Dorreen

called “Simba 24-30H” could be the “best in the Bakken Formation,” said Delvin Foote, founder and shareholder of

this stage, the well is being tested, but it’s too soon to say what the full
potential for the well will be, but all indications are that it will be a very
good well, said Foote. “We are
treating the well like a premature baby,” and proceeding slowly and carefully,
said Foote. It is the longest lateral
well in The
Three Affiliated Tribes receives a 22.5 percent royalty giving the tribe the
largest royalty on the reservation. Simba
24-30H drains oil and gas from a 1,280 acre spacing unit within the Foote lives
about two miles south of the well on the site where his grandmother moved after
the flood. Also located in an area were
the Amelia Bear, George Foote and Elsie White Body families. The area is now mostly abandoned and the old
