STATEMENT OF GOV. JOHN HOEVEN ON THE PASSING OF NORTH DAKOTA
REPRESENTATIVE PAT GALVIN

BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor John Hoeven today issued the following statement upon learning of the death of former North Dakota Representative Pat Galvin:

"Mikey and I extend our deepest sympathy to Carol and the entire Galvin family on Pat’s passing. During his long career, he served his community, our state and our nation with pride, distinction and a wonderful sense of humor, which all of us who knew him truly appreciated and enjoyed. His wit and charm live on in his autobiography, which was published last year.

“Pat served his country in the Air Force, his state as a legislator and National Guardsman, and his community as a city commissioner and school board member. His legacy is an outstanding personal and civic record that left his community better than he found it. He will be missed by all."
