Two Shields chosen as delegate to North Dakota Silver-Haired Legislative Assembly

Ramona Two Shields was chosen to represent North Dakota’s Indian reservations as delegate to the North Dakota Silver-Haired Legislative Assembly.  She was appointed by Ray Silver, president of the North Dakota Silver-Haired Legislative Assembly.

As delegate, Two Shields serves as a member of one of the four committees that will discuss bills and resolutions at the 2011 North Dakota State Legislature.

The top 10 items are services, programs and concerns of North Dakota seniors that will be reviewed and prioritized during the Assembly.

Two Shields is a member of the MHA elder’s board and former executive director of the elder programs.  She lives in Parshall with her daughter, Minnie.
