Tribal Business Council Special Meeting-January 3rd, 4th, 5th & 30th, 2001 Action

Tribal Administration Building Expansion Project Increased to include 6 to 7 more office spaces.
The Tribal Business Council took official action to approve a change order which would increase the number of office spaces available in the Tribal Office of the TAT. This change order would make six to seven offices available and leave the Tribal Chambers in place for additional meeting space. This additional space being added now saves money, to contract later with another company, as to bid out all over again would be added expense for mobilization and architecture and engineering.
The office space of the Three Affiliated Tribes is limited, there are times that vital employment positions are not recruited and hired, because there is not enough office space, This provides additional justification for this change order.

Propane Business is being proposed by the Three Affiliated Tribes to serve more enrolled members in need.
The Tribal Business Council is considering entering into the Propane business to serve more members with the programs that we have available. The Low Income Assistance program has limited dollars available. By having our own Propane Business we can keep our product cost down and serve more enrolled members. We serve over five hundred (500) now,  but with a lower product cost, we could increase that number of enrolled members each year.
Amy Mossett, hired as the Tourism Director of the Three Affiliated Tribes.
The Tribal Business Council hired Amy Mossett as the Tourism Director of the Three Affiliated Tribes. Ms. Mossett is already very active in the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial.
Truancy Officers of TAT re-advertised to close on February 7, 2001.
The Tribal Business Council extended the application deadline for the Truancy Officers for the Fort Berthold Reservation, Four Bears, New Town, Mandaree, Twin Buttes, Parshall and White Shield.
The Four Bears and New Town Positions will both work in the New Town School System.
Applications may be picked up at the Personnel Office of Three Affiliated Tribes, tele.: 627-4781.
