ENROLLMENT PRESENTS THIRTY EIGHT (38) APPLICATION
FOR ENROLLMENT TO THE THREE AFFILIATED TRIBES
The Tribal Business Council formally approved the
Tribal Resolution #02-29-MWJR duly enrolling
thirty-eight (38) application for enrollment into
the Three Affiliated Tribes, which states in part:
Whereas, According to the Article II, Sec. I: Membership:
The membership of the Three Affiliated Tribes shall
consist of:
- All
persons who names appear on the membership of
the Tribe as of October 2, 1974.
- Any
person born before the effective date of the
amendment and to any member of the Tribe who
was a resident of the reservation at the time
of birth of said person.
- All
persons of at least 1/4, degree Indian blood
of a federally recognized tribe, provided that
at least 1/8 be of the Hidatsa, Mandan, or Arikara
Tribe.
TRIBAL BUSINESS
COUNCIL APPROVES THE MINUTES JANUARY 11, 2002 REGULAR
MEETING
The
Tribal Business Council approved the January 11,
2002 Regular Meeting Minutes as amended, noting
that the action of the donation of funding for
the New Mandaree School Construction was for the
Grand Total amount of $900,000.
Upon approval such minutes are placed on the Tribal
Website and the MHA Times for immediate publication.
TWIN BUTTES CUSTOM HOMES OF TAT APPROVED THE FUNDING
OF$300,000
The
Three Affiliated Tribes approved the funding of
$300,000 for the Twin Buttes Custom Homes for
working capital needs of the enterprise.
The working capital assistance will also be used
for matching a Guaranteed Loan through the Bureau
of Indian Affairs.
LBE
& ASSOCIATES CONTRACTED FOR THE DRUG AND ALCOHOL
TESTING FO THE PERSONNEL OF THE THREE AFFILIATED
TRIBES
The
Tribal Business Council formally contracted with
LBE & Associates for the Drug and Alcohol
Testing for the Three Affiliated Tribes and the
Tribal Enterprises. The Contract will be for the
remainder of the FY 2002 or the period form February
2002 to September 30, 2002.

THREE
AFFILIATED TRIBES HIRE MR. HARRY SITTING BEAR
AS NEW FOUR BEARS COPS FAST OFFICER FOR THE FOUR
BEARS SEGMENT
The
Tribal Business Council formally approved the
request of Mr. Harry Sitting Bear to be transferred
into the Tribal Cops Fast Program as Law Enforcement
Officer serving the Four Bears Segment.
Mr. Sitting Bear will be on duty shortly, upon
final approval of the necessary paperwork for
the transfer form Property of TAT. Mr. Sitting
Bear will be joining Todd Moquino Cops Officers
and Rick Little Swallow, Assistant CI.
