TRIBAL BUSINESS COUNCIL APPROVES GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SERVICES AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
The Tribal Business Council took formal action to approve a New 8(a) Technology Company to be located within the Four Bears Segment and the New Town/Little Shell Segments to provide economic development and jobs for the segments.
The approved start up budget was approved for in the amount of $110,000 for the first year contract. Which would include funding for five (5) employees which will be hired and trained to be employed by the Mandan Hidatsa and Arikara Technology Department. Mr. Richard Mayer and Paul Danks are in charge of the new enterprise which is tentatively to be set up within the Tribal Office of the Three Affiliated Tribes.

TRIBE PURCHASES LAND FOR THE RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE OF THE CLARKS CREEK ROAD TO HUNTS ALONG BAY
The Three Affiliated Tribes purchased the remaining property within Allotment 808-A, to access the Clarks Creek Road and the re-establishment and or construction of such road to Hunts Along Bay. As there is not presently access to the Allotted and Tribal Lands for the respective Tribal Members of the Three Affiliated Tribes.
The Clarks Creek Area is a historic site that was fished by many families residing within the Reservation who wanted to access to fish.
The Clarks Creek Area is primarily known as the Hunts Along Bay which is a prime fishing location for the non-Indian sport fisherman, however the Enrolled Members who cannot afford a boat do not have access to this area.
Upon completion of the Construction of the New Road down to Clarks Creek their will be installation of Water and opportunity for a Concessionaire Agreement with any enrolled member interested in operating a Bait Shop and Boat Docks. More information to follow. Thank You.

MANDAREE C-STORE APPROVED FOR A BUSINESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT AND LOAN FOR $7,000
The Tribal Business Council duly approved the request for a Business Development $3,500 Grant and $3,500 Loan for the Mandaree Community Board. This Business Development Grant and Loan is also available to all (5) community Boards.
TRIBAL BUSINESS COUNCIL REQUEST THAT ALL EIGHT TRIBAL ENTITIES PROVIDE REPORT TO BE PRESENTED ON MARCH 13, 2002.
The Tribal Business Council made a formal motion to request the presence and a project reports and financial accountability from all of the eight (8) Tribal Enterprises of the Three Affiliated Tribes. As it was stated during the debate on the lack of reports and accountability.
NEXT REGULAR TRIBAL COUNCIL MEETING SET FOR MARCH 13, 2002
The Mandaree Boys Basketball Team, made it to the State Class B Tournament, therefore the Council meeting is moved up to March 13th. "Congratulations to the Mandaree Warriors and Ronnie Mann from the Four Bears Segment."
