Regular Meeting held on May 17, 2001 -Continued

Catholic Congress-Parshall 2001 funded for June 2-3, 2001
The Tribal Business Council approved the funding of $1,000 for the June 2-3, 2001 Catholic Congress Activities to be held at the St. Bridget's Church. Presented by Roberta Crows Breast.
Native American Church 52nd Annual Conference to be held June 15-17, 2001
The Tribal Business Council approve the funding of $1,000 for the June 15-17, 2001 Conference to be held on the Fort Berthold Reservation. Presented by Denny Wolf,  President.
2001 Veterans Day and Memorial Day Services funded for May 28, 2001
The Tribal Business Council approved the donation and grant to the Veterans program for the Memorial Activities to be held on May 28, 2001, coordinated by Thomas Crows Heart, Director of the Veterans Program of TAT.
Tribe Donates to the Four Bears Elders Organization 1995 Dodge 15 Passenger Van
The Tribal Business Council declared the van as excess property.
The Tribal Business Council thereby donated the excess property to the Four Bears Elders Organization 1995 Dodge 15 Passenger Van for the usage of the needs of the elders in the Four Bears Segment.
The Van having 199,547 total miles and is need of a hydraulic lift for the access of the elders in need of such services and also needs a new transmission.
This Transportation Van was requested by the Elders Program of the Four Bears Segment per Joan Mathews. Elders Program can be contacted at 627-2976 or 627-4781.
Senior Garages are to be purchased for 60 Elders on the Fort Berthold Reservation
The Tribal Business Council voted to purchase 60 Garages for Elders on the Fort Berthold Reservation are 60 years of age and older as of October 1, 2000.
The tentative list should have also included ** the following who were inadvertently omitted in Aprils Newsletter:

  1. Starr, Hazy**
  2. Grady, Shirley **
  3. Norma Staples **
