Mobile
Home Loan Program -Changes made to amount of Loan
Available
The Tribal
Business Council voted to amend the Mobile Home
Program to allow for the Loaning up to $10,000.
Previously the program was only allowed to loan
up to 15% of the total cost of the Loan, in
order to be able to receive the maximum amount
of $10,000 you would have to purchase a $66,666
dollar mobile home. This simply did not
work. With the amendment to the Policy the program
is now more workable on buying a mobile home,
as most used mobile homes are selling for $2,500
to $10,000 easily. Now the program has the ability
to reach more applicants who wish to purchase
a home, but cannot afford a brand new home the
next best thing is a used home.
The interest rate on this loan would be 5%,
and term of up to 5 years which is 60 months.
Therefore if you borrowed:
$10,000 your monthly payment would be $188.71
or
$7,500 your monthly payment would be $141.53 or
$5,000 your monthly payment would be $94.36 and
so forth
However you would need to contact the Credit/Small
Loan Office at 627-4781 for further information.
