Tribal Business Council of TAT
Special Meeting held on May 29, 2001-Continued

From the Desk of Marcus Wells, Jr., Four Bears Council Representative.
Four Bears Casino and Lodge to Relocate the Marina Facility to the Adjacent to the Four Bears Bridge
EMD Inc. has been contracted to extend the existing ramp, build a new road to the ramp and landscape the are surrounding the New Marina located east of the Casino. In return for 2000 cubic yards of pea gravel valued at $2,000.
...EMD Inc. would use a shaker and separate the materials they would need and we could use the other materials to build the coble stone ramp. For more information contact Mr. Bernie Fox, Co-General Manger or Spencer Wilkinson, Jr. Co-General Manager at 627-4018.
Mobile Home Loan Program -Changes made to amount of Loan Available
The Tribal Business Council voted to amend the Mobile Home Program to allow for the Loaning up to $10,000. Previously the program was only allowed to loan up to 15% of the total cost of the Loan, in order to be able to receive the maximum amount of $10,000 you would have to purchase a $66,666 dollar mobile home.  This simply did not work. With the amendment to the Policy the program is now more workable on buying a mobile home, as most used mobile homes are selling for $2,500 to $10,000 easily. Now the program has the ability to reach more applicants who wish to purchase a home, but cannot afford a brand new home the next best thing is a used home.
The interest rate on this loan would be 5%, and term of up to 5 years which is 60 months. Therefore if you borrowed:
$10,000 your monthly payment would be $188.71 or
$7,500 your monthly payment would be $141.53 or
$5,000 your monthly payment would be $94.36 and so forth
However you would need to contact the Credit/Small Loan Office at 627-4781 for further information.
Circle of Life and Four State FAS Consortium to conduct a FAS Project Study
The Tribal Business Council approved the request of the Circle of Life to provide a study of a six month study.
...Recent information suggest that a variety of factors influence whether or not a baby is likely to be affected by exposure to alcohol while in the mother's womb.
...The information collected for this program would be done anonymously.
