Tribal Business Council of TAT
Special Meeting held on June 14, 2001 Action

The Tribal Business Council convened a Special Meeting on June 14, 2001 to act on a limited Agenda due to the need to have the completion of the Land Purchase completed and the Twin Buttes Pow Wow funds approved.
However, Chairman Hall and Vice Chairman Phelan were on official business at the HUD Office in Denver, Colorado and could not attend.
Therefore Marcus Wells, Jr, Secretary of the Tribal Business Council Chaired such special meeting as Acting Chairman and Councilman Daylon Spotted Bear was designated Acting Secretary.
John Iverson Land Purchased within Four Bears Segment
The Tribal Business Council of the Three Affiliated Tribes voted to approve the Tribal Business Council Resolution #01-146-DSB to purchase 160 Acres of property from John Iverson located south of the Snow Bird Property, the land was appraised for an amount of $239 per acre and the Tribe purchased the property for $200 per acre.
Four Bears Park Road System in the Four Bears Segment
Tribal Business Council approved Tribal Business Council Resolution #01-148-DSB, which stated:
"The Tribal Business Council, through the enactment of the Three Affiliated Tribes Highway Ordinance, has established a Tribal Road System that includes all roads serving tribal parks, and
The Tribal Business Council added Park Roads to the Road Construction Priority List for fiscal year 2002 by resolution..
That Portion of the Four Bears Park road system, serving the Three Affiliated Tribal Headquarters and Casino, is in very poor condition and needs rehabilitation, at an estimated cost of $125,000, and
That the Tribal Business Council hereby requests the Bureau of Indian Affairs to issue the Three Affiliated Tribes a contract in the amount of $20,000 for the survey and design of the rehabilitation of the above portion of the Four Bears park road system, as authorized by 23 USC.
Wells Road BIA 27 in the Four Bears Segment
Tribal Business Council approved Tribal Business Council Resolution #01-149-DSB,wherein:
"The Wells Road is on the approved Road Construction Priority Listing for fiscal year 2002; and
That the Tribal Business Council hereby requests the Bureau of Indian Affairs to issue the Three Affiliated Tribes a contract in the amount of $39,000 for the survey and design of the Wells Road, as authorized by 23 USC.
Roads Personnel Issues
Tribal Business Council approves the rate increase for Bruce Nagel, Acting Roads Manager not to exceed the amount of $18.00 per hour
