Road Personnel Issues - Continued from page 2
Tribal Business Council approves the funding of two (2) summer interns for the Public Works of TAT for the summer 2001 to be advertised at the rate of $6.50 to $7.00 per hour. For more information contact personnel at 627-4781.
Tribal Business Council approves the selection of Ramona Packineau Two Shield for Contracts Specialist for the Public Works of TAT.
Community Board Contributions to Pow Wows
The Tribal Business Council approved a motion to limit the amount of Community donations to the Segment Pow Wows to $10,000. Such donation is then allowed to be used as a match of $10,000 from the Tribal Business Council for the Celebrations for 2001.
Wind Energy Proposal Presented by Paul Danks
The Tribal Business Council approved the motion to development of proposal to seek additional funding for the Rural Utility Service for a one Wind Energy Generator. The Loan program has funding available for the repayment interest rates of 5% for the CY2001. Therefore Mr. Paul Danks was given the authorization to proceed and bring back to the TBC for further review.
Four Bears Casino & Lodge Present the Tribal Business Council Monthly Report
Co-General Managers, Bernie Fox and Spencer Wilkinson, Jr. presented to the Tribal Business Council their monthly report.
The Financial Report on the Four Bears 2001 Pow Wow held on June 1-3, 2001.
The Four Bears 2001 Pow Wow showed the following within the report for example:
Lucky's Restaurant   $11,961.36
Snackbar    $  4,366.60
Bridge Bar/ET   $  7,259.95
Arcade    $     572.00
Concessions   
$10,585.43
Sub-Total    $34,745.34
The above excludes gaming revenue, however versus the following weekend the Four Bears General Managers informed the TBC that the 2001 Pow Wow generated an additional 200% in revenue.  Which brought out a comment from one of the Tribal Council members that we should hold this type of event every weekend.
Next years 2002 Pow Wow therefore should benefit by being held in the events center again with the same type of monetary support from the Management of the Four Bears Casino & Lodge.
FBC&L; Operational Assessment
They also handed out the Operational Assessment of Four Bears Casino & Lodge for TBC review, as prepared by Don Clement, CPA,Brady Martz, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, and Tom Katus, President, TK Associates International.
