477 Program Selects the after School Tutors for the School Year 2001/02
The Tribal Business Council approved the recommendations from the 477 Acting Director, Mr. Don Rush, for the following candidate for the Four Bears Segment,  Jolene Lockwood from October 16, 2001 to June 2002.  For more information please contact 477 at 627-4756.
MIS Department of the Three Affiliated Tribes apply for $400,000 Grant
Tribal Business Council approves application for USDA RDA Grant for the Amount of $400,000 for the MIS Department of TAT to be submitted by Mr. Mike Cross per Tribal Resolution #01-259-MWJR, which states in part:
"the Three Affiliated Tribes' Tribal Business Council authorizes the Tribal MIS Department to seek $400,000 from Rural Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Utilities Service, Local Dial-up Internet Grant Program to provide local dial up intern services for the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation and to employ a grant writer for $5,000--$2,500 immediately and $2,500 upon timely receipt of the completed grant…"
Standing Rock Reservation Requests Official Opposition of the Lewis & Clark Sites by the Three Affiliated Tribes
The Tribal Business Council was requested thru Ms. Amy Mossett to take formal action and submit a letter to Chairman Murphy and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, that the Three Affiliated Tribes are in official opposition of the disturbance of sites by individuals unauthorized within the Standing Rock Reservation, which are determined to be artifacts of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation.
Casey Fredericks, Appointed Acting CEO of the Twin Buttes Custom Homes
Tribal Business Council Formally appointed Mr. Casey Fredericks to the Acting CEO of the Twin Buttes Custom Homes, Twin Buttes ND.   Mr. Fredericks, will serve in the position which is currently being advertised and to be filled.
The position was vacated when the Tribe went on record to rescind the contract with CAM of Minnesota.
Vocational Rehab of the Three Affiliated Tribes application for Grant to the US Dept of Education Approved
The Tribal Business Council approved the application for the Grant Application to be submitted to the US Department of Education per Tribal Resolution #01-260-MWJR, which states in part:
"The Tribal Business Council supports the development of a social, cultural, educational and economic planning strategy; and"
"The Tribal Business Council recognizes the Fort Berthold Consortium comprised of Educational Institutions and Tribal Programs Service  Providers, including all Fort Berthold School, 477-Programs and Voc-Rehab, parents and student; and"
"that the Three Affiliated Tribes Business Council authorizes the Fort Berthold Consortium to apply for grants to the US Department of Education, under the Talent Search and Educational Opportunity Centers Programs, CFDA #:84.044.

Fort Berthold Housing Authority granted 20 Lots within the Breslin Addition for the establishment of future housing
The Tribal Business Council Approved the request for the set aside of 20 Lots for future housing development within the Breslin addition in the City of New Town, ND which is owned by the Three Affiliated Tribes.
