Chairman Tex G. Hall was elected the President of NCAI on November 29, 2001 at the 58th Annual Convention, held in Spokane, Washington.
The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) held elections for officers on Thursday, November 29, 2001. Tex received 14,178 votes to 9,444 cast for Brian Wallace, Chairman of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada/California.  The President of NCAI is a key position within Indian Country , which will only lead to national level attention to the needs of the our Tribe and Indian Country as well.
