The Tribal Business Council formally approved the following Minutes as presented by the Recording Secretary which included:

TRIBAL BUSINESS COUNCIL APPROVED THE BACK LOGGED MEETING MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 11, 1999 THRU DECEMBER 21, 1999
The Tribal Business Council formally approved the following Back Logged Minutes as presented by the Tribal Secretary Staff which included:

The minutes were transcribed by Joni Halsey, Bonnie Baker, Judy Brugh and Jean Baker at the direction of the current Secretary of the Tribal Business Council. I would like to formally thank the Secretary Staff for a job well done.
When I was appointed the Secretary of the Tribal Business Council in November 2000, I took on the responsibility to get the staff to transcribe and approve the backlogged minutes.  Therefore the Staff and I have completed the backlog. The back logged minutes will be published by the MHA Times and will be placed on the http://www.mhanation.com website for your review shortly. Thank You Secretary Staff!
PIPER JAFFREY RETAINED AS CONSULTANT FOR THE ASSISTANCE IN THE ADDITIONAL HOUSING NEEDS OF THE FORT BERTHOLD RESERVATION
The Tribal Business Council approved the consultant agreement for the Piper Jaffrey Corporation to development of a Bond Issuance for the need for additional housing on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
TRIBE APPROVES THE DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSING DIVISION TO OBTAIN FINANCING FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING
The Tribal Business Council approved the development of a Tribal Housing Division, Pursuant to Tribal Resolution #01-292-MWJR, which states in part:
"Whereas, There exists within the several segments of the Fort Berthold Reservation an unmet need for adequate individual family housing including single family units and multifamily dwellings; and
Whereas, The Tribe has determined that it would be in the best interests of the Tribe and its enrolled members…".
