| Barry Benson was elected to the Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Business Council on November 07, 2006; with this being Barry’s first year as the Twin Buttes District Representative.
Barry Benson is currently the Natural Resource Committee Chairman and is a member of the Health and Human Committee. Barry is in the process of getting Twin Buttes Custom Homes D.B.A. Nu’Eta Nation Tribal Builders, to be self sufficient with the help of Daylon Spotted Bear who is instrumental in the expansion of resources for Nu’Eta Nation Tribal Builder’s.
Barry, is a member of the Three Clan and is the youngest of 13 children born to Olive Sholass-Spotted Bear-Benson and Frank T. Benson. Barry, has lived in the Twin Buttes area all of his life and has plans on raising his family in the Twin Buttes District.
Barry’s main concerns for the Twin Buttes District includes but are not limited to a new Health Care Facility located in the Twin Buttes District, the continuation of Twin Buttes Elementary School Expansion Project, the expansion of Nu’Eta Nation Tribal Builders and the health and well being of today’s youth, community membership and elders. |
