To conduct research, provide education and training resources, and define and enhance standards of law enforcement professionalism. To provide relationships that are sustained with local, tribal, state, and federal on a national level of resources for the MHA law enforcement and its community members. To provide pro-active approaches in meeting the demands of our crimes prevention and law enforcement responsibilities. To engage in strategic and future planning and keep abreast the latest in law enforcement technologies. To identify the needs of law enforcement and its segment communities and to provide the programs to meet those needs.

On and off the Fort Berthold Reservation.
The Drug Task Force and staff are a viable member of the Chairman’s Wellness Coalition who works with multiple tribal and non-tribal programs. The Drug Task Force will participate in training events that are sponsored by its programs in conjunction with local tribal state federal and national level programs and all entities to build community trust, public safety, and professional law enforcement to be sustainable for future generations on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
Air support through Homeland Security which provides fixed wing aircraft, helicopters and military predator drones (unmanned aircraft).
