SUMMARY:Grand Opening: Community Health Resource Center
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the grand opening of the Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) in New Town on June 4th. The Center was built to house a myriad of programs for children\, adults\, elders\, and families in a more centralized location. The CHRC building is also home to the Three Affiliated Tribes Health Administration\, Elbowoods Memorial Health Center Executive Team\, and the following from EMHC\, Tribal Health\, and tribal programs. \nThese services include:\n-Grants & Donations\n-We Heart Healing-Adolescent Behavioral Health Services\n-Public Health Nursing\n-CHR program\n-Physical Therapy\n-Occupational Therapy\n-Speech and Language Pathology\n-WIC Program\n-Infant & Toddler Program\n-Purchased and Referred Care\n-Tribal Health Insurance \nMost of these services overlap\, with the CHRC allowing for improved collaboration between programs\, enhanced services\, and a streamline for referral services for patients/clients. \nThe CHRC is physically attached to Elbowoods Memorial Health Center via skywalk making the services available without having to leave the building during harsh weather. CHRC is the new hub that is now open to the public and creates access to essential community resources. We can’t wait to share with you a new beginning for community health services.
