The MHA Gallery invites you to visit our upcoming exhibit Black Pinto Horse: A Storied Collective of Native Visions. Exhibit opening and artist talk will be held September 7, 2023, at the MHA Interpretive Center Gallery from 5-7 pm. 

Enjoy beverages and hors devours while you listen to tribal member artist Monte Yellow Bird Sr. (Black Pinto Horse) discuss his collection and stories of his Arikara/Hidatsa heritage from his unique artist perspective.

Black Pinto Horse is an internationally recognized and award-winning artist represented in several galleries in the Southwest as well as Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, and California. He was also a featured artist in the 2020 March/April Issue of Southwest Art magazine.
