Our mission is to promote and support affordable housing opportunities and related services for the MHA Nation through the efficient use of resources and the building of effective partnerships, thereby contributing toward the successful economic and social development of our Tribe.
Services Provided
We currently serve as property managers for a housing stock of 125 units which consist of Elder Home, 2010 Homes, Walking Shield, Dreamcatcher, FEMA, and HIP homes located in all 6 segments of the reservation. We assist our clients by initiating a rental lease or purchase agreement depending on their current situation, we accept rental and/or lease payment for the units, maintain client files, mail out statements, write default letters, and accept repair/work order requests and obtain contractors as necessary.
We also provide Homebuyer Education classes. Downpayment Assistance and Homeowner Maintenance classes for our clients as they pursue their dream of homeownership.
Special project administration as appointed by the Tribal Business Council
Eligible Participants
Preference is given to Enrolled members of the MHA Nation with the exception of the Housing Improvement Program (HIP). HIP’s eligibility is for a member of any federally recognized tribe.
Emergencies may be available for non-enrolled members.
