Servicing ages 3-5
Early Learning and Development
- Curriculum: Our center-based educational programs are designed to provide age-appropriate learning experiences that cater to each child's individual developmental stage. The curriculum fosters cognitive, social, and emotional skills necessary for future academic success.
- Activities: Interactive and engaging activities are planned to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
Family & Community Engagement
We work closely with families to support their child’s development and provide additional resources as needed.
Cultural Enrichment
We integrate cultural practices into our daily activities and celebrate diverse traditions through special events and activities.

Three Affiliated Tribes Head Start Program - 2024-2025 Round-Up Events

- Birth certificate
- Income verification
- Immunization records (copies if from outside North Dakota)
- Custody papers (if applicable)
- Medical insurance cards
- Tribal ID (if applicable)
- Records indicating Special Services needs (for new students)
Returning Students: Do not need birth certificates or immunization records, but bring all other documents.
Round-Up Event Services: Physicals, Immunizations, Dental, Vision, Diabetes screenings, and more.

TAT Head Start Enrollment applications can be obtained via email wajones@mhanation.com, or on the MHA website under Department: Head Start or picked up at the Main Head Start Center in New Town at 509 9th N New Town, ND 58763.
We ask that the application be completed before the Round Up Event unless you have a question in a particular area of the application.
Returning Students
Information for returning students of the Three Affiliated Tribes Head Start Program for the 2024-2025 school year:
Required Documents for Returning Students: Returning students do not need to provide a birth certificate or immunization records but must bring all other documents:
- Income verification
- Custody papers (if applicable)
- Medical insurance cards
- Tribal ID (if applicable)
- Any records indicating if the child requires Special Services
Application Process for Returning Students:
- Application: Complete the TAT Head Start Enrollment application, available via email (wajones@mhanation.com), on the MHA website (Department: Head Start), or pick up at the Main Head Start Center in New Town.
- Deadline: Application should be completed before the Round-Up Event unless clarification is needed on a specific section.
